Abstract

Young people are in their prime for pursuing China Dream, while the fulfilling of China Dream makes the young generation successful. With the intention of accurate and indepth representing the understanding and pursuing of China Dream by young people in Zhejiang, the book took a combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis method, conducted the research on the awareness, understanding and cognition of China Dream, the preconditions and confidence for the fulfillment of China Dream, the challenges and difficulties facing China Dream, and the responsibilities of young generation among young people with various social identities. The quantitative analysis was based on the first hand data obtained from the telephone survey, which statistically demonstrated the overall situation and stratified features of young people's understanding and pursuing of China Dream inZhejiang. The qualitative analysis was based on 15 case studies of young people's growth and success experience in various social groups and life chances who were living and working in the Zhejiang, which portrayed the diversified path of pursuing China Dream for contemporary young people. At the same time, these personal ideas and experiences in case studies revealed the young people's understandings and demands of China Dream among various social groups.
