5.2　Acceptance of Welding Materials

All welding electrodes，wires，fluxes and shield gases shall have quality certificates and shall meet the following requirements：

5.2.1　All welding electrodes shall meet the requirements of GB/T 5117，GB/T 5118 and GB/T 983.All flux-cored wires shall meet the requirements of GB/T 10045 and GB/T 17853.All wires used or argon arc welding shall meet the requirements of GB/T 14957 and GB/T 8110.

5.2.2　Tungsten argon arc welding shall meet the requirements of SJ/T 10743.

5.2.3　All fluxes used for submerged arc welding shall meet the requirements of GB/T 5293 and GB/T 12470.

5.2.4　CO2 shall meet the requirements of HG/T 2537.Argon for shielding purposes shall meet the provisions of GB/T 4842.

5.2.5　Inspection and acceptance of imported welding materials shall be conducted in accordance with the standards of the exporting nations as appropriate in case the related national standards are not available.
