3 General Requirements

3.0.1 The installation of the high-voltage electric equipment shall be accordance with the approved design drawings and the technical documentations of the product.

3.0.2 The transportation and storage of equipment and material shall meet the requirements specified in this code and the technical documentations of the product.

3.0.3 Before the installation of the equipment and material,the storage period shall meet the requirements in the technical documentations of the product,which shall not exceed 1 year when there is no special requirement.When long-term storage is required,the manufacturer shall be informed and solicited for their opinions.

3.0.4 Equipment and material shall meet both the requirements of the current national standards and those of the signed technical specification in the orders,and be provided with qualification documents.The equipment shall be with the nameplate;GIS and HGIS equipment control panel shall be provided with primary wiring analog diagram;separating points of GIS and HGIS equipment air chamber shall be marked out on the equipment.

3.0.5 The following inspection shall be carried out immediately after the equipment and material arrive at the construction site:

1 Packing and sealing shall be well.

2 Type and specification shall be complied with design requirements and accessories and spare parts shall be complete.

3 Technical documents of products shall be complete.

4 Visual inspection shall comply with requirements specified in this Code.

3.0.6 Construction scheme shall be compiled before construction,which shall meet the requirements in this code,other relevant national current standards and the technical documentations of the product.

3.0.7 Construction engineering construction related to installation of high-voltage electric equipment shall meet the following requirements:

1 It shall meet the requirements of design and equipment.

2 It shall meet the relevant requirements of the current national standard GB 50300 Unified Standard for Constructional Quality Acceptance of Building Engineering.

3 Before installation of the equipment,construction engineering shall be possessed of the following conditions:

1)Roofs and floors shall have been completed,no leakage.

2)Installation of doors and windows in the power distribution room shall be completed;construction of indoor ground base course shall be completed,and ground elevation shall be marked out on the wall;the surrounding ground of equipment pedestal and busbar frame shall be troweled after they are installed;construction of indoor earthing shall be completed according to the design.

3)Embedded parts and preformed holes shall meet the design requirements;embedded parts shall be firm.

4)It shall be terminated when the interior decoration that may damage the installed equipment or decoration work that can not be carried out after equipment are installed.

5)Concrete foundation and frame support shall reach the strength and rigidity allowable for installation;welding quality of equipment supports shall meet the relevant requirements of the current national standard GB 50236 Code for Construction and Acceptance of Field EquipmentIndustrial Pipe Welding Engineering.

6)Construction facilities and sundries shall be cleaned up;installation site shall be sufficient;construction road shall be unimpeded.

7)Walkway plates,handrails,platforms and ladders of high-rise frames shall be complete and firm.

8)Foundation pit shall be backfilled and tamped.

9)As for the construction engineering such as building,concrete foundation and frame support,they shall be qualified in the preliminary acceptance,and intermediate transferring procedures for transfer installation shall be transacted.

4 Equipment shall meet the following requirements,before they are put into operation:

1)Decoration engineering shall be completed;ground,wall surface and frame shall be free from pollution.

2)Secondary grouting and face work shall be completed.

3)Protective net door,handrail and ladder shall be complete with reliable earthing.

4)The site for outdoor power distribution devices shall be flat and smooth.

5)Indoor and outdoor earthing construction shall be completed according to the design and qualified in the acceptance.

6)Indoor ventilating equipment shall well operate.

7)The work shall be completed if it may not be carried out or may influence operating safety after electrified.

3.0.8 The main earthing grid in the corresponding power distribution device area shall be completed before equipment are installed.

3.0.9 Galvanizing or stainless steel products shall be adopted for the fastening pieces used for equipment installation;hot galvanizing technology shall be adopted where galvanizing products are adopted for outdoor fastening pieces.Hot galvanizing products shall be adopted for exposed stone bolts.Fastening pieces used for electric wiring terminals shall meet the relevant requirements of the current national standard GB 5273 Terminals for TransformersHigh-voltage Apparatus and Bushings.

3.0.10 Earthing of high-voltage electric equipment shall meet the relevant requirements of the current national standard GB 50169 Electric Equipment Installation Engineering Code for Construction and Acceptance of Grounding Devices,design and the technical documentations of the product.

3.0.11 Porcelain element quality of high-voltage electric equipment shall meet the relevant requirements of the current national standard GB/T 772 Technical Specifications of Porcelain Element for High Voltage Insulators,GB/T 8287.1 Indoor and Outdoor Post insulators for Systems with Nominal Voltage Greater Than 1000V—Part 1:Test on Insulators of Ceramic Material or Glass,GB/T 8287.2 Indoor and Outdoor Post Insulators for Systems with Nominal Voltage Greater Than 1000V—Part 2:Dimensions and Characteristics,and GB/T 4109 Insulated Bushings for Alternating Voltages Above 1000V,as well as the signed technical specification.

3.0.12 The hand-over test of high-voltage electric equipment shall be enforced according to the relevant requirements of the current national standard GB 50150 Electric Equipment Installation Engineering Standard for Hand-over Test of Electric Equipment.

3.0.13 Construction and acceptance of HGIS shall be enforced according to the requirements of GIS in chapter 5 of this code.
