繁华浅草，

蜂蝶随人花径小。

云淡风清，

春色依然岭上明。

山高几许，

手插柳条逢喜雨。

幼树新姿，

共盼迎来飞絮时。

Flowers luxuriant, grasses shallow,

Bees and butterfl ies fl utter along fl owery lanes narrow.

The cloud light, the wind fresh,

The mountain has the best of spring to relish.

High is the hill,

Willow twigs in hand, rain falls to our will.

Small trees in new stance,

Together we wait to see catkins in the air dance.

Zhao Naituan was a professor in the Economic Department of Peking University. Professor Luo Hansu, his wife, taught at Beijing Normal University.
